This internationally award winning cover of Schertz Magazine
is a recreation of the famous Abbey Road Beatles Photo
from 1969.  Bailey worked with Buddhist Monks from the
Wat Saddhadhamma Temple in Schertz to recreate the
famous picture.  For Effect, A Schertz water tower

    External Publications

An external publication is any print or online publication produced for residents, customers, business and industry colleagues  or potential clients.

Since 1994, Brad Bailey has published a wide variety of publications, both in print and online, ranging from radio guides and coupon books, to newsletters, vacation guides, and magazines.

In 1998, Bailey began publishing newspapers for local organizations and political candidates, followed by newsletters, and other direct marketing materials. In 2007, Bailey transformed a local city newsletter into one of the leading advertiser-funded monthly magazines focusing on human interest stories and city government in South Texas with over 14K monthly subscribers. Schertz Magazine, which won 11 International Awards and 2 state awards was recognized in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Henry Cuellar in 2010.
The award winning December 2009 cover of Schertz Magzine featured Miss Schertz as an Angel.  The cover tied into that city's annual Festival of Angels event and included posters and a billboard on IH-35
By its fifth year of publication, Schertz Magazine had a readership of not only local residents, but folks from around San Antonio, South Texas, and Beyond.  Copies of the magazine became widely available in establishments throughout the Metrocom, San Antonio, and New Braunfels.  By November 2012, copies of Schertz Magazine were being used as a major tool for promoting quality of life to potential residents and businesses, and even as a tourism tool around the world.
Residents of Schertz sent in pictures of their vacations with Schertz Magazine.  The magazine has been in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, in caves, on Mt. Kilimanjaro, in the Himalayas, and beyond.

In Late 2012, Bailey and the Scherz Public Affairs team developed a series of restaurant and hotel guides, complete with coupons, to promote the Schertz area.  Both an English (above) and Spanish (below) version were created.  The Spanish version was also marketed to travel professionals throughout Mexico.
